Vaginal Prolapse

There are a number of treatment options for patients with vaginal prolapse. Pelvic floor disorders manifest in many different ways, may involve hormone deficiency and prolapse, with or without the different types of incontinence.

Full evaluations are carried out to determine the best treatment for each patient, because each patient has very different anatomy, complaints, and desires. Treatment can include necessary fitting/placement or surgical options such as pelvic floor reconstructive procedures, and are chosen for each patient as necessary.

Evaluation may include urodynamic testing, cystoscopy, urine tests, hormonal evaluation and pelvic floor strengthening such as physical therapy and biofeedback.
