Genitourethral Reconstruction

Genitourethral Reconstruction is available to treat a number of conditions – both congenital and acquired. These treatments include:
• Inflatable penile prosthesis – a hydraulic device (a pump) that is used to treat extreme cases of erectile dysfunction
• Artificial sphincter – for patients experiencing severe incontinence
• Reconstructive surgery to remove a urethral stricture, or scar, that blocks the urethra, resulting in urinary problems
