Peyronies Disease (Curvature of the Penis)

Peyronies Disease is a condition, which is characterized by a curvature in the penis, and is usually accompanied by a lump and/or painful erections. Recent European studies report that three percent of men suffer from Peyronies, the average sufferer being about 55 years old. Michigan Urological Clinic usually employs one of two procedures we believe best achieves the goal to alleviate the pain and disfigurement associated with Peyronies Disease:

• Modified Corporoplasty, which removes the lump from the penis, resulting in straightening and some loss of length

• Plaque Incision/Excision with Graft Inlay, which removes the lump, but grafts new skin into the incision area, resulting in straightening
