Kidney Disease

A number of kidney conditions may be detected even before a child’s birth. These diseases may be caused by several different congenital disorders. Occasionally, these conditions correct themselves before birth. Those that don’t however, require evaluation by ultrasound or other methods. Treatment for these disorders depends on their cause as well as on test results.
