Urinary Tract Infections

Urinary Tract Infections are the result of bacteria entering the urethra and spreading throughout the urinary tract (which includes the urethra, ureters, bladder, and kidneys). Urinary Tract Infections are very common – especially in females – and can be treated with medication.

Symptoms of Urinary Tract Infections in children include:
• Lower back or abdomen pain
• Painful urination
• Cloudy urine
• Incontinence
