Wilms’ Tumor

Wilms’ Tumor is a form of kidney cancer that occurs in children – both boys and girls. There is no clear, known cause for the disease.

Symptoms of Wilms’ Tumor include:
• Abdominal pain
• Blood in urine
• Fever

Treatment for Wilms’ Tumor usually involves surgery and chemotherapy – as well as radiation in extreme cases. The success rate for this treatment is very high – and over 85% of patients survive the disease.
